Stephen Engel

Stephen has worked in product development and technical service roles during his 22 years with Ecolab. In Research, Development & Engineering, Stephen has been responsible for driving new cleaning and antimicrobial chemistry innovation. He currently leads multiple teams supporting product testing, quality management, and R&D operations for the North America Institutional business segment. 

Stephen is a retired U.S. Navy Veteran and currently leads the Military Employee Resource Group at Ecolab, also known as MERGE. He directs the volunteer efforts of multiple national chapters to drive engagement, development, leadership opportunities and support within Ecolab for veterans, service members and families. Stephen is a board officer of the Rosemount Chapter of the Minnesota Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Network. He is also a board member of the Dakota County Technical College Foundation. He has a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
